ATLANTA – The leadership team of Operation 2 Save Lives (O2SL) & QRT National is pleased to share that they recently represented the organization as a vendor at the 2023 National Rx & Illicit Drug Summit in Atlanta.

O2SL & QRT National shared a vendor booth with partner Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (PAARI) and was alongside partner Cordata Healthcare.

The summit is the largest national collaboration of professionals from local, state, and federal agencies, business, academia, treatment providers, and allied communities impacted by prescription drug misuse and illicit drug use.

The event featured many speakers, and presentations on topics surrounding clinical decision making, youth overdose prevention, drug decriminalization, stigma reduction, treatment and recovery, technology and data sharing, and more. Overall, the event brings together stakeholders to discuss what’s working in prevention and treatment.

The Summit began in 2012 under the leadership of Operation UNITE and U.S. Rep. Harold “Hal” Rogers of Kentucky. Operation UNITE (Unlawful Narcotics Investigations, Treatment and Education, Inc.) was created in 2003 by Congressman Rogers. UNITE is a collaborative model striving to prevent abuse of drugs and facilitate recovery by creating strategic partnerships, providing leadership, promoting education, coordinating treatment, and supporting law enforcement. UNITE serves a 32-county region in southern and eastern Kentucky.
