2023 PTACC National Deflection and Pre-Arrest Diversion Summit (Denver, CO)
O2SL & QRT National will be presenting "Ohio Deflection Association: A Statewide Initiative - Why We Started and Where We are Going" at the Police, Treatment, and Community Collaborative (PTACC) 4th Annual Training Summit to be held on October 3-6, 2023, in Denver, Colorado. This summit will focus on development and support of deflection and pre-arrest diversion (PAD) initiatives.

Benton-Corvallis Situation Table Training (Corvallis, OR)
O2SL and QRT National will be presenting Situation Table training to Benton County with the support of Corvallis Police Department and Benton County Health Department in partnership with InterCommunity Health Network CCO (IHN-CCO). This training will prepare a community, its key stakeholders, and partners with the skills and lessons necessary to implement a local Situation Table that addresses Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) and provides collaborative solutions for responding to individuals or situations identified as being at Acutely Elevated Risk.
FHI 360 Situation Table Briefing (Washington, D.C.)
O2SL and QRT National will be providing a Situation Table introduction to FHI 360 and multiple field sites in Washington, D. C., on October 19, 2023. The Situation Table brings together multiple human service providers to address situations where individuals and/or families have reached the threshold of Acutely Elevated Risk but who may otherwise fall through the cracks in the system.
Boston Deflection Academy Training (Boston, MA)
O2SL and QRT National, in partnership with PAARI, will be providing Deflection Academy training to the city of Boston, Boston Police Department, Boston BEST, and other collaborative partners. This 2-day training course will inform and educate public safety, outreach team members, partners, and leaders on the field of Deflection and pre-arrest diversion. It will offer an overview of nationally recognized Deflection pathways while focusing on engaging public safety in collaboration with their public health and community-based team members. These Deflection models are operating within communities across the United States.
Boyd County Situation Table (Russell, KY)
O2SL and QRT National will be conducting a 2-Day Boyd County Situation Table training on October 23rd and 24th, 2023, in Russell, KY. The Situation Table training is a multi-phase process that includes various progressive stages of learning and implementation. 2023 West Virginia Quick Response Teams Summit (Charleston, WV)
O2SL and QRT National will be presenting at the West Virginia Quick Response Teams 2023 Summit to be held on November 6, 2023, in Charleston, WV. There will be a number of national and state-focused speakers with topics covering such topics as predictive modeling, reentry, safety guidance, self-care, and practical application.
Partners in Safety Breaking Barriers (Elizabethtown, KY)
O2SL and QRT National will be presenting at the Partners in Safety Breaking Barriers event to be held November 14, 2023, at the Early College and Career Center Hardin County Schools in Elizabethtown, KY. Topics will include current narcotics trends, overdose data, Fentanyl education, and Quick Response Teams. Coffee, snacks, and lunch will be provided. Presented by Communicare Regional Prevention Center, Lincoln Trail District Health Department, and the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force.
New England Association of Recovery Court Professionals Deflection Briefing (Danvers, MA)
O2SL and QRT National will be presenting on the subject of "Integration of Deflection with Recovery Courts" to the New England Association of Recovery Court Professionals (NEARCP) in Danvers, MA, on November 15, 2023. NEARCP is a non-profit consortium of judges, lawyers, treatment providers, case managers, probation and law enforcement officers, and other professionals promotes regional coordination and provides policy and practice, training, technical assistance, and resource support to the recovery court community in the New England area.
Litchfield County Opiate Task Force Conference (Torrington, CT)
O2SL and QRT National will be presenting on the subject of "Compassionate Policing through Deflection" at the "Reimagining Empathy: A Decade of Unity and Resilience" Conference hosted by Litchfield County Opiate Task Force on November 30, 2023, at the Warner Theater in Torrington, CT. The conference reflects on a decade addressing the overdose crisis and its roots causes in the community and future endeavors to combat this issue. Other session topics will include Life Saving Measures, Mindfulness and Sound Healing, and Talking to Loved Ones about Their Addiction.
