PMAT – Project Management Adherence Tool

PMAT is a customized tool created exclusively by O2SL & QRT National Deflection experts that measures quality improvement and process evaluation for collaborative community responses that address social health needs.  This tool provides the framework for understanding the maturity of an existing Deflection initiative while providing the framework to support the creation a new initiative.  This tool has been proven to be supportive to researchers and evaluators working with Deflection sites across the states of West Virginia and Ohio, as well as for leaders in the state of Kentucky’s Cabinet of Health.

PMAT is utilized to support teams’ understanding of where they compare to other sites operating in the field.  PMAT is in a pilot phase to be used as a scientific instrument in the future, which is grounded in a Likert Scale rating that defines (5) five levels of maturity.  This tool allows our team of professionals to work with sites, teams, and communities on the growth and improvement of their maturity.

The PMAT questions have been designed, by practitioners, to provide a more detailed level of information regarding your team and community efforts. Our team will utilize this online format to improve the survey process, providing us with detailed information to better support your team(s).

The PMAT tool encompasses a simple five-step process, which includes.

  1. Web-based survey will be emailed to the site leader for one, collective site submission.
  2. Upon receipt of the completed PMAT survey, O2SL & QRT National PMAT reviewers will conduct an initial maturity analysis. score the (six) 6 Domains and prepare for a virtual consultation with your team.
  3. O2SL & QRT National will schedule a virtual meeting with up to 3-5 of your site designee(s) who participated in the PMAT submission.  The virtual meeting is the most impactful step in the process, enabling the reviewers to gather additional information.
  4. PMAT reviewer will prepare a site-specific report, including individual domain and overall domain maturity scores, with domain-specific site recommendations.
  5. Final reports will be submitted to each site and the leadership of your Deflection initiative.  Final reports are utilized to create site action plans.

One PMAT submission is collectively submitted on behalf of a site. PMAT is deployed initially and then in subsequent annual iterations to complete evaluations assessing the improved maturity of the site’s individual and overall domains.
